Calibration
Pressing the EXIT softkey displays the Hardware Diagnostic Mode menu.
PROBE ON/OFF The probe tone output can be toggled on and off by pressing the PROBE ON/OFF
softkey.
PORTS DIAG. The internal and external RS-232 ports and the parallel port can be tested by press-
ing the PORTS DIAG softkey.
The Ports Diagnostic mode screen will be dis-
played.
Test results are displayed in the center of the LCD.
RS-232 INT.
ON/OFF
Pressing the RS-232 INT. ON/OFF softkey toggles the loopback test sequence for
the internal RS-232 port on or off. Data is sent to the port, looped back and
compared to the original output. Good and bad data counts are accumulated until
the test is stopped by pressing the RS-232 INT ON/OFF softkey again.
