MAPLA- Modular energy supply system for load lifting magnets
Repairs/repair
Maintenance work carried out by authorised personnel
Danger
Danger to life!
y
Strong, permanent magnetic elds can impair the operation
of active implants/pacemakers.
► Persons with pacemakers are not allowed to remain in the
vicinity of lifting magnets when switched on.
► Always maintain asucient safety clearance from the lifting
magnet.
Warning
Risk of injury and risk of damage!
y
During repairs, make sure that the PE/PA connection
(potential connection, usually green/yellow) between
lifting magnet and generator controller is connected to the
electricity supply. Without this, the detection of external ISO
faults in the lifting magnet will not be possible.
y
If this connection is not present, an installed insulation
monitor may no longer be able to detect an insulation fault.
Warning
Risk of injury and risk of damage!
y
When working on the iMAPLA system, insuciently qualied
persons put themselves at risk and can damage the system.
► The assembly, connection and commissioning of the
iMAPLA system and work on the electrical systems may only
be carried out by authorised, qualied and specially trained
personnel.
► Carry out all connection work according to applicable
national regulations (in Germany: these include VDE
specications).
