Connecting Power to HDP5000 Printer and
Lamination Module
Caution: Do not plug in the USB cable until prompted to do so during the
installation of the HDP5000 Printer Driver. Refer to the Driver installation procedure below.
Step Procedure
1 The Printer and Lamination Module connections are shown in the Displays A
to C
2 Use the same procedure for both the Printer and the Lamination Module.
Power up the lamination module first then the printer.
Note: If no Lamination Module is used then plug in the printer first.
3 IMPORTANT NOTE: After the printer and lamination module is connected to
the power then the USB cable may be plugged into the computer. Do not
connect the USB before the printer has been powered up.
