The operating equipment is housed in two cabinets at either end of the scanner. These
cabinets are accessible through the end cabinet doors, which are locked with two square
key latches at top and bottom along one side to prevent unauthorized access (see Figure
29).

The door at the cable end protects the electrical services, including power supplies, motor
drive, computers, Ethernet switches, and terminations.
The door at the distant end protects the TES pump and fluid distribution manifolds, and
the 20856 V transformer.
2.3.1.5 Scanner Stop Button
Description:
The SCANNER STOP button is a yellow push button, labeled SCANNER STOP (see Figure
30), located on the door at either end of the scanner.
