destroyTapeDrive
Deletes the specified tape drive from the VLS. Where the options
are:
-a <n> - Node number on which the tape drive resides (0
to 3) (optional)
-f - Force. Do the destroy without a prompt (optional)
-l <n> - LUN number of the tape drive to delete (1, 2, ...)
(required)
-la <n> - Number of the node on which the library emulation
to which the tape drive is associated resides (required)
-ll <n> - LUN number of the library associated with the tape
drive to delete (required)
-h - Displays command usage information (optional)
addBarCodes
Creates a new
barcode template. Where the options a re:
-a <s> -Barco
de template name (up to 20 alphanumeric
characters,
spaces allowed) (required)
-b <s> -Barco
de prefix to use for the barcode (up to 5 alpha
characters
) (required)
-i <n> -Start
ing numeric value for the cartridges created with
this templa
te (1 to 1024) (required)
-u <n> -Barc
ode suffix length. Number of digits for car tridge
sequencing
(1 to 16) (re qu ired )
-h - Displays command usage information (optional)
getBarCodes
Returns a list of all the barcode templates (and their settings)
that have been defined. Displays each barcode template’s
name, prefix, start index, and suffixlength.
deleteBarCode
Deletes the specified barcode template. Where the options are:
-a <s> - Barcode prefix (required)
-f - Force. Do the delete without a prompt (optional)
-h - Displays command usage information (optional)
getCartTy
pes
Returns a l
ist of available cartridge emulation types. D isplays
each cartr
idge emulation’s name, type, and capacity
information.
getCartTypesByTape
Returns a list of available cartridge emulation types for the tape
drive specified. Displays each car tridge emulation’s name,
type, and capa city information. Where the options are:
