If the server is in tower mode, place the server on a flat, level surface with the access panel facing up .
If the server is in rack mode, remove the server from the rack .
5. Remove the access panel.
6. If installed, remove the following hardware components:
a. Boot device cage assembly
b. Energy pack
7. If installed, remove the expansion card from the tertiary riser .
8. Remove the tertiary riser.
9. Remove the tertiary riser board.
