4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
If the server is in tower mode, place the server on a flat, level surface with the access panel facing up .
If the server is in rack mode, remove the server from the rack .
6. Remove the access panel.
7. Remove the fan cage.
8. Disconnect the power and USB cables from the RDX docking station.
9. Remove the RDX docking station:
a. Press and hold the release latch (callout 1).
b. Slide the RDX docking station out of the server (callout 2).

Before installing the replacement RDX docking station in the media bay, install the mounting screws included in the spare kit on the RDX
drive.
