6. Remove the fan cage.
7. Disconnect all cables from the expansion cards, riser boards, and the system board.
8. Do the following:
Remove the primary riser cage.
Remove the secondary riser cage.
9. Remove all DIMMs.
10. If installed, remove the following components:
Type-o storage controller
OCP NIC 3.0 adapter
Serial port cable
11. Remove the cable clamps .
12. Allow all internal system components to cool before continuing.
13. CAUTION:CAUTION:
Heatsink screws must be tightened and loosened in alternating sequence. Do not overtighten the screws as this might
damage the system board or the processor socket.
Use a T-30 Torx screwdriver to loosen one pair of diagonally opposite screws (callouts 1 and 2), and then loosen the other pair of screws
(callouts 3 and 4).
