3. Confirm the automatic start of the iSCSI service (Figure 5-11).

4. The iSCSI Initiator Properties window opens. Select the Configuration tab (Figure 5-12).
Write down the initiator name of your Windows host because you use it later.

5. You can change the initiator name, or enable advanced authentication, but these actions
are out of the scope of our basic setup. By default, iSCSI authentication is not enabled.

6. From the Configuration tab, you can change the initiator name, enable CHAP
authentication, and more. However, these tasks are beyond the scope of our basic setup.
