SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS SOLUTION
Nothing works,
applicator and
printer does not
have power
1. Power cord for applicator
loose, defective or not
plugged in.
2. Main supply fuse is blown.
Inspect and correct
Replace the fuse.
Applicator has
power, but front
panel indictors on
printer are not
lighted.
1. Power cord to printer is
loose or defective.
2. Printer power switch is
OFF.
3. Printer power fuse is
blown.
Inspect and correct
Turn power switch ON.
Replace the fuse.
Label liner
breaking.
1. Incorrectly threaded
labels.
2. Damaged roll of labels.
3. Die nicks or bruises on
liner.
4. Liner width varying
significantly.
5. Insufficient clearance
between peeler bar and
tamp pad.
6. Guide collars not correctly
aligned with unwind and
rewind rolls.
7. Adhesive build-up on
peeler bar.
8. Dancer arm/unwind roll
tension incorrect.
Correct.
Replace label roll.
Replace label roll.
Replace label roll.
Adjust for correct
clearance.
Adjust as required. Typical
clearance should not
exceed 1/64” on their side.
Clean as necessary.
