2. Important Safety Information
Read all safety information and instructions. Non-compliance with the safety informa-
tion and instructions can cause electric shock, re or serious injuries. Keep all safety information and
instructions ready to hand near the equipment.
• Keep the device outside the reach of children! Children should be supervised while they are using
the device.
• Immediately seek medical attention after
swallowing small parts that have resulted from
damage to the device.
• Immediately seek medical attention after inhal-
ing gases that have resulted from damage to
the device.
• Immediately seek medical attention after con-
tact with liquids that have leaked as a result of
damage to the device.
• Do not expose the device to mechanical impacts.
• Do not use any other charging device than the
one that is specically intended for use with
the device.
• Always buy the spare parts recommended by the
device manufacturer.
• Keep cells and batteries clean and dry.
• Wipe the device with a clean, dry cloth when it
is soiled.
• To ensure the proper function, follow the manu-
facturer’s instructions or the device manual.
• Retain the original product literature for future
consultation.
• Use the device only for the purpose for which it
is intended.
• The Instagrid ONE must on no account be
opened. In particular, the “end caps” [2 | 6] must
not be opened. Maintenance and repair must
only be carried out by an instructed specialist.
• No changes must be made to control elements
and plug-in devices of the Instagrid ONE.
These must only be exchanged by an instructed
specialist.
• The outputs [4 | 9] of the Instagrid ONE must not
be short-circuited.
• The electrical contacts [4 | 8 | 9] of the Instagrid
ONE must not be touched with ngers, tools or
other objects.
• The Instagrid ONE must not be used as work
support or as makeshift work bench.
• The housing [10] of the Instagrid ONE must not
be submersed in water or mud.
• The Instagrid ONE must only be used within the
operating limits specied in [Chapter 4.2.].
• In case of a battery re, the re must be
quenched with water. If possible, the Instagrid
ONE must be completely covered with water. The
re brigade must be called and informed that
lithium-ion batteries are burning.
• Fumes can escape in case of damage and im-
proper use of the Instagrid ONE. The fumes can
irritate the respiratory tract. In this case, fresh air
must be supplied and a doctor consulted in case
of disorders.
• Liquid can escape from the batteries of the
Instagrid ONE in case of incorrect use. In case
of skin contact, the liquid must be rinsed o
with water.
• In addition, seek medical attention in case the
liquid gets into the eyes. Escaping battery uid
can lead to skin irritations or burns.
• The Instagrid ONE must not be stored at tem-
peratures above 65°C and must be kept away
from external sources of heat (e.g. lengthy expo-
sure to solar radiation, radiant heaters, re). Con-
tact with the ambient air must not be restricted
(e.g. through operation inside a closed container).
