8.1. Replacing the Melting Fuse of the Charging Input
A tripped melting fuse of the charging input [11] can indicate an underlying
issue that cannot be rectied by replacing the fuse.
Before replacing the fuse, activate [Transport] mode [Chapter 6.2.] by moving the rotary switch [3]
in position and remove any connected cables and/or consumers.
Open or close the fuse holder with a suitable screw driver.
Caution!
Always replace the fuse with a fuse of the same type (250V T5A L):
• Nominal voltage: 250 V
• Characteristic: slow-acting (S)
• Nominal current: 5 A
• Breaking capacity: low (L)
• Model: 5x20 mm
• Possible type: Littelfuse 0218005.MXP
8.2. Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, activate [Transport] mode [Chapter 6.2.] by moving the rotary switch [3] in
position and remove any connected cables and/or consumers.
Close the socket covers [8 | 9].
Check the Instagrid ONE for any damage.
Damp cleaning of the Instagrid ONE is permitted, but attention must be paid that no jets of water
are used. In particular the use of high-pressure cleaners is not permitted.
The use of solvents or other highly reactive chemicals is not permitted.
8.3. Replacing the Frame
The frame 7 of the Instagrid ONE can be replaced by the user in case of damage. Appropriate spare
parts and detailed instructions can be obtained from Instagrid, see [Chapter 12.].
9. Miscellaneous
9.1. Storage
Before storage, activate [Transport] mode [Chapter 6.2.] by moving the rotary switch [3] in position
and remove any connected cables and/or consumers.
Do not store the Instagrid ONE for a longer period in a discharged state. This could lead to a deep
discharge of the Instagrid ONE and require a recommissioning by Instagrid.
To prevent a deep discharge of the starter battery [Chapter 6.4.] during a longer storage period, it
is advisable to fully charge the Instagrid ONE before storage and to leave it connected to the mains
supply in [Transport] mode for another 4 hours afterwards.
Recharge the Instagrid ONE at least every 12 months.
