8.10.2 Sony Alpha 7R Full Frame Camera General Care
Always handle the gimbal with care. If the camera manually must be tilted manually, (when not
connected or while the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS is switched off), only do so very cautiously. If too
much force is applied, the gear wheels of the Servo Motors might break.
The camera is powered by the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS battery to save weight. When the system
is switched off always switch off the camera first and wait for 10 seconds to enable the camera
to fully power down and store all images and settings. Only then switch off the Intel
®
Falcon™
8+ UAS. If the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS is switched off too early, the power supply to the camera is
cut data could be lost.
Do not change the HDMI output settings of the camera. Doing so increases the risk of losing the
preview video on the Intel
®
Cockpit GCS Tablet.
Keep the aircraft mode of the camera switched on, to avoid radio interference from the camera
(MENU > > Aircraft Mode > ON).
