8.9.3 Unpacking
Lay out all components from the case on a clean, dry surface before assembly as required.
8.9.4 Storage
Ensure the system components are properly secured in the original shipping containers and the

Powerpack™ Batteries are removed from the aircraft.
Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS 41º F (5° C) to 77º F (25° C).
Always disconnect all Intel
®
Powerpack™ Batteries when the system is no longer in use.
Store in a place that is not subject to large temperature fluctuations or direct sunlight.
Make sure the storage place is dry and that no condensation moisture can come into contact
with the system.
Best practice is to always keep the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS in the closed case or specifically
designed Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS Case.
8.9.5 Batteries
Please read the following safety instructions and warnings carefully before charging or using
the batteries. Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries are volatile. Failure to read and follow the below
instructions may result in fire, personal injury and damage to property if charged or used
improperly. Intel cannot assume any liability for failures to comply with these warnings and
safety guidelines. By purchasing this battery, the customer assumes all risks associated with
lithium batteries. Use of the Intel
®
Powerpack™ Battery is by the Remote Pilot certifies he or she
has read, understands, and accepts all of the safety and usage guidelines and usage.
Preparing for Storage or Transportation
Do not store the Intel
®
Powerpack™ Batteries fully charged. Storing a fully charged Intel
®
Powerpack™ Battery has negative effects on its life span. Thus, the Intel
®
Powerpack™ Battery
has a storage mode, where it slowly unloads itself to a healthy storage-voltage using internal
circuitry. See Section 7.5.1 Intel
®
Powerpack™ Battery for further information about Storage
Mode.
Store Intel
®
Powerpack™ Batteries at room temperature between a min. of: 41º F (5° C) to 77º F
(25° C) for best results.
Do not expose Intel
®
Powerpack™ Batteries to direct sunlight (heat) for extended periods.
For transporting and storing the Intel
®
Powerpack™ Batteries, use only LIPO-SAFE or cases.
CAUTION: STORING BATTERIES AT TEMPERATURES GREATER THAN 6C (140 DEGREES F)
FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME (MORE THAN 60 MINUTES) MAY CAUSE DAMAGE
TO THE INTEL
®
POWERPACK™ BATTERY AND BECOME A FIRE RISK.
