Manual-Mode
When there is no input from the Remote Pilot, the system will only keep its orientation
in the air.
The system will not keep its position and height, nor will it compensate for wind.
Controlling the position and height has to be done manually by the Remote Pilot.
The inputs via the Intel
®
Cockpit GCS control the roll and pitch angles and the thrust of
the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS.
o Roll and pitch angles are limited to 50°.
o The direction and the speed of the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS are influenced by the
wind direction and speed.
7.2.5 Camera Controls
All cameras integrated on the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS can be controlled via the Intel
®
Cockpit GCS.
Several switches on the Intel
®
Cockpit GCS are assigned to camera controls.
1) Push Button #1 sets the camera to +/- 90° and 0° when R1 (4) is pushed simultaneously
2) Push Button #2 changes the function depending on the connected payload
3) Push Button $3 is the trigger button on top of the left control stick (control sick 1)
4) Left Rocker Switch, #4, controls the camera tilt
