WEIGHT LIMITS

Falcon™ 8+ UAS is categorized as a small unmanned aircraft system by the Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA).

The Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS is equipped with one payload bay. The aircraft may be operated
without a payload or with an approved camera and gimbal mount.
FLIGHT AND MANEUVER LIMITATIONS
Acrobatic flight is prohibited.
Flight in known icing conditions is prohibited.
Do not fly at temperatures below 23
o
F or above 95
o
F (-5º C 35º C).
Do not operate in precipitation greater than .01 – .10 inches per hour (light rain).
Fly in dry conditions only - the UAS and payloads are not waterproof.
Do not fly in urban canyons.
Note: The payload calibration can be done indoors with the motors switched off.
CAUTION: WHEN INSTALLING A NEW PAYLOAD ONTO THE INTEL® FALCON™ 8+ UAS, IT IS
NECESSARY TO PERFORM A PAYLOAD CALIBRATION AND A COMPASS CALIBRATION.
CALIBRATIONS WILL BE SAVED AND RECALLED OIN FUTURE FLIGHTS.
