4.5.2 Initial Preflight
Aircraft Condition Inspect
Perform a visual inspection of the aircraft. Inspect for:
Central Unit/ Top Canopy No Cracks, Dents, Tears
Propeller attach fittings Fasteners, Hand-tight
Propeller Surfaces Clean; No Cracks, Dents,
Tears
SD Card / USB Stick Present
Camera / Payload Installed
Camera/Payload Lens Cap Removed
Camera Battery Pack (if required) Charged, Connected
Camera / Payload Power On
Propulsion Intel

Powerpack™ Battery Charged, Connected
Prior to each mission, charge each Intel
®
Powerpack™ Battery to 100%. Replace battery if
remaining charge is inadequate for planned flight time. Secure battery in aircraft in proper
location with Intel label facing upward.

Cockpit GCS Antenna Panel Inspect; Fully Extended

Powerpack™ Battery to 100%. Replace battery if
remaining charge is inadequate for planned mission time plus 30 minutes. Secure battery in
proper location with Intel label facing downward.
