GROUND HANDLING
This section provides details to the Remote Pilot on how to do all of the following:
8.9.1 Transport
The transport set consists of different
cases with precision water jet cut inlays
designed for the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS
with all its accessories. For easy
transportation, the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+
UAS case has a retractable handle and
wheels.
The Intel transport cases are water
resistant, crush-proof and dust proof.
The Intel Backpack is not safe for air
freighting, but very useful for missions
in remote areas, since it is light and
relatively compact.
Use reasonable care when transporting
components to prevent damage.
For transporting and storing the Intel
®
Powerpack™ Batteries, use only LIPO-SAFE cases.
CAUTION: THE INTEL® FALCON™ 8+ UAS AND INTEL® COCKPIT GCS SHOULD BE
TRANSPORTED FULLY ASSEMBLED.
CAUTION: WHEN SHIPPING THE INTEL® FALCON™ 8+ UAS IN THE TRANSPORT CASE WITH A
MOUNTED PAYLOAD, THE FOAM INLET OF THE PAYLOAD CASE MUST BE USED TO
AVOID DAMAGES DURING TRANSPORT.
CAUTION: THE INTEL TRANSPORT CASES ARE NOT LIPO SAFE CASES AND THEREFORE NOT
SUFFICIENT FOR SHIPPING INTEL® POWERPACK™ BATTERIES.
