LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER
3.8.1 Battery Weak
1. Land as soon as possible
Land without delay at the nearest suitable area, such as an open field, at which a safe
approach and landing is assured.
Battery Empty
1. Land Immediately
Land without delay. The urgency of the landing is paramount. The primary consideration
is to minimize the risk of damage to people or property on the ground.
WARNING/ CAUTION LIGHTS AND ALARMS
3.9.1 Battery Warnings
There are several acoustic and visual warnings (visible at the bottom of the Status Display) that
caution of low or no battery:
‘Battery weak, land
soon”
Vibration of the Intel

Cockpit GCS
The audio warning is repeated
every 20 seconds.
The battery voltage is <= 14.4 V
or the remaining maximum flight
time is under 5 minutes.
“Battery empty, land
now”
Vibration of the Intel
®
Cockpit GCS
The battery voltage is ~<=14.0 V
or the remaining maximum flight
time is under 3 minutes.
Vibration of the Intel

Cockpit GCS every 10
seconds
When there is only one minute
remaining flight time left, the
Intel
®
Cockpit GCS will vibrate
every 10 seconds.
