SECTION 10 SAFETY
INTRODUCTION
10.1.1 Intended Use
This product is an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) intended for commercial use only. It is not
intended for consumer or recreational use.
Users must read and understand all documentation before using the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS. By
using the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS, operators certify they have read and understand all of the
material in this manual, the additional Terms and Conditions of Use and Important Safety
Information document included with the product and all other user documentation and agree
to follow them. Operating the System while ignoring these guidelines and warnings may result
in not complying with applicable law and subject you to consequences, such as fines and
penalties, due to non-compliance.
Use the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS only as intended. Always operate in accordance within the
operating limitations stated in this Manual.
10.1.2 Safety Guidelines
Failure to follow the guidelines and warnings and/or failure to operate within the operational
limitations of the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS could result in death, serious injury, property damage,
or damage to the aircraft.
Remote Pilots must comply with all applicable insurance and aviation-specific liability
requirements.
Regulations
The Remote Pilot is responsible for knowing and complying with all laws and regulations
applicable to the airspace in which the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS is operating. Jurisdictions
have different safety rules such as: authorization for flying UAS; flying near airports,
manned aircraft, or people; operation within visual line of sight; altitude limits; operation
at night or twilight; operation of multiple aircraft at the same time; and airspace usage.
Know and understand all applicable laws before flight, and follow them at all times.
Some jurisdictions also have other rules that may affect operation of UAS, such as laws
relating to receipt of wireless signals, aerial photography, aerial surveying, privacy,
security, and trespass. The Remote Pilot must know and follow all laws and regulations
applicable to the flight operation.
In some jurisdictions, the Remote Pilot may be required to have a pilot certification from
the aviation authority or advance approval from the aviation authority or air traffic
control. Check the local laws before operating the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS. The Remote
Pilot is always responsible for operating the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS safely and
responsibly, and in compliance with all laws.
