2.7.1 Minimum Crew Requirement
Minimum crew is one Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC).
The Remote Pilot normally programs the flight plan and operates the controls of the aircraft
during normal, manual, and non-normal operations.
Intensive training of every Remote Pilot to operate the UAS in all flight modes is mandatory.
Training is provided by authorized training providers; contact an Intel Corporation

The Visual Observer (VO) is responsible for monitoring area of operations for airborne,
environmental hazards, and for ground-based hazards.
Supplemental Remote Pilot
The crew may include a Supplemental Remote Pilot, but the Supplemental Remote Pilot is not
considered minimum crew. The Supplemental Remote Pilot performs the same flying duties of
the Remote Pilot under the direction of the Remote Pilot in Command. Only one Remote Pilot
in command is allowed.
Note: The Remote Pilot may not act as the Visual Observer.
Note: The Supplemental Pilot may not act as the Visual Observer.
WARNING: DO NOT FLY WHEREVER A FLAMMABLE GAS OR VAPOR HAZARD EXISTS AS
ELECTRICAL SPARK MAY IGNITE VAPORS.
CAUTION: DO NOT FLY IN A HIGH ELECTROMAGNETIC ENVIRONMENT AS IT MAY CAUSE
SYSTEM MALFUNCTION
