Falcon™ 8+ UAS is designed to
compensate these errors in most cases, but the function is not guaranteed.
Takeoff/Launch and Landing Operations
The safety of personnel working in or around the takeoff/launch and landing site is the single
largest concern. Nonessential personnel should maintain a safe distance from the launch and
landing area.
Crews should practice launch, landing, and emergency operations on a regular basis and follow
specified training and checklists.
Maintenance
Operators should ensure maintenance personnel adhere to appropriate technical manuals
when working on the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS.
Do not disassemble, or modify the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS unless certified by the manufacture
for service or repair. Any modifications may compromise safety features, increasing risk of
injury, death, or property damage. There are no user serviceable parts inside the unmanned
aircraft.
Using devices in combination with the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS other than those approved by Intel
(e.g. batteries, battery chargers, cameras, etc.) is prohibited. Any unapproved modification of
the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS is prohibited.
10.1.5 Accident/Incident Reporting
Any incident, accident, or any flight operation that meets one or both of the following conditions
must be reported to the appropriate authority:
1. Causes serious injury or loss of consciousness to any person; or
2. Damages property, other than the Intel
®
Falcon™ 8+ UAS, to the extent that cost of repair
exceeds $500
