Port forwarding information
A router is a device that lets you share your internet connection between multiple
computers. Most routers will not allow incoming traffic to the device unless you have
configured them to forward the necessary ports to that device. By default our software
and recorders require the following ports to be forwarded:
Note: Port forwarding may reduce the security of the computers on your network.
Please contact your network administrator or a qualified network technician for further
information.

HTTP protocol Used to connect via IE browser.
Client Software Port Used to connect to video streams.
RTSP Port Real time streaming protocol.
Used to record video remotely.
RTSP Port for 3G/4G Use with mobile apps.
Used for 3G/4G connection.

Note: It is recommended that the RTSP port 1024 should only be used when
experiencing connection issues over a 3G/4G connection.
