Configure the recorder via the browser
Click Configuration on the menu toolbar to display the configuration window. There
are two ways to configure the recorder: Local and Remote.
Camera management
Camera configuration lets you define communication and network parameters such as
protocol type, maximum file size, stream type and network transmission settings. You
can also specify the directory locations for saving recorded and playback video,
captured images, and downloaded files.
Remote configuration
See Figure 37 on page 150 for an example of the Configuration screen. See Table 17
on page 150 for an overview of the different browser menu functions. Please refer to
the specific sections on the OSD menu functions in the manual for more information on
configuring these functions.
Go to Browser Configuration to set up the browser parameters. See “Access the web
browser” on page 142 for further information.
Note: The configuration settings defined remotely are different from those that can be
defined locally.
