The IP cameras will specify which type of PoE they require. You can set up each
camera individually for no PoE, PoE-af, PoE-at, or 12.5 W for 4- and 16-channel
recorders and 15 W for 8-channel recorders. A PoE port can support up to 30 W
maximum.
The recorder has up to 16 PoE ports, depending on the model. The total PoE power
budget for the 4-channel recorder is 50 W, for the 8- channel recorder it is 120W and
for the 16-channel recorder it is 200 W.
The PoE-af port can support between 0 and 15.4 W and the PoE-at port can support
between 0 and 30 W. See Table 11 below for a description of the maximum number of
IP cameras that can be connected depending on the PoE type used.

To display the PoE power consumption information:
1. From the menu toolbar, click Camera Setup > PoE Setup.
2. Select the PoE type required for each camera: No PoE, PoE-af, PoE-at, or 12.5 W.
3. Click Apply to save the settings. Click Exit to return to live view.
