Simultaneous operation of the presser foot lifting and open/close of the hemming binder
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power off and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.
Presser foot lifting and open/close of the hemming binder
can be simultaneously performed by attaching the compo-
nents supplied with the sewing machine as accessories.
1) Fix hemming binder connecting rod

to knee lifting

to 5.5 N·m)

(Tightening torque should be 4.5 to 5.5 N·m. To secure

on the underside, tighten it with a 8mm span-
ner.)

When simultaneously performing presser foot lifting
and open/close of the hemming binder by knee opera-
tion, remove chain

When simultaneously performing presser foot lifting
and open/close of the hemming binder by pedal opera-
tion, remove knee pad plate (asm.)

When the lifting amount of the upper feed roller is insuf-
cient, move hinge screw

. The lifting amount of
the upper feed roller increased with the same operating
amount.

Lifting amount of the upper feed roller is max. 14 mm
and open/close amount of the hemming binder is max.
13 mm.
Adjust presser lifting stopper A

the open/close amount of the hemming binder do not
exceed the respective max. values.
