508| Audio In/Out, Voice and Guitar Processor
With a guitar, keep the level so that this indicator remains green most of the
time (even at signal peaks). For best results, keep the input level low (not
exceeding -20 dB, as shown in the input meter).
Turning the audio input on and adjusting the volume
The audio input can be quickly turned on or off, and its volume in the mix
adjusted, right from the control panel. Please note that, for safety reasons,
the input level is always muted when turning the instrument on.
1 Use the MUTE button in the AUDIO IN section of the control panel to mute
or unmute the audio input.
2 Adjust the audio input volume by using the VOLUME knob in the AUDIO IN
section. Check the level by watching at the LEVEL indicator in the same sec-
tion.
You can also adjust the level of the MIC/IN channel in the Main page of the
Style Play or Song Play mode. Be sure it is not too low or muted.
Start the automatic accompaniment or a Song, to balance the audio input
against the internal Sounds.
