ITEM NO. CONTROL NAME FUNCTION
1 Sonic Auger Sensor Mount
The sonic auger senses the asphalt height and automatically adjusts
the material ow to maintain an even pavement nish. (Page 4-28) The
sonic auger sensor slides into this mount on the screed extension and
plugs into the sonic cable connection.
2 Endgate Depth Screw Controls the depth of the endgate.
3 Tilt Screw Adjusts the tilt of the endgate.

Screed Extension Angle of
Attack (AOA) Screw
Adjusts the front of the extension wearplate to provide the best mat.
Moves up or down and can level extension at wide widths.
5 Crown and Valley Adjuster
Adjusts for positive crown or negative valley on the screed wear plate.
NOTE: An automatic Power Crown option is also available.
6 Electric Screed Heat Box
OPTION: Control box for turning screed heat off and on (timed for 20
minutes with automatic shut-off for added safety).
7 Flight Screw Controls the depth of the asphalt.
8 Remote Screed Controls
Screed operator control box with switches to extend/retract screed
extension, auger manual override, cut-off gate control and raise/lower
asphalt slope.
