6.1.1 Mounting and dismounting function modules
Danger!
Dangerous electrical voltage
Terminals can carry dangerous electrical voltage − also if the motor is stopped
or after the mains is switched off!
Possible consequences:
ƒ Death or severe injuries when touching live terminals.
Protective measures:
Before all operations on the controller
ƒ Switch off the mains voltage and wait for at least 3 minutes.
ƒ Check whether terminals are isolated from supply, since
– the power terminals U, V, W, +UG, −UG, BR1, BR2, and the pins of the FIF
interfaces still carry dangerous voltage for at least 3 minutes after
power−off.
– the power terminals L1, L2, L3; U, V, W, +UG, −UG, BR1, BR2, and the pins of
the FIF interfaces carry dangerous voltage when the motor is stopped.
– the relay outputs K11, K12, K14 can carry dangerous voltage when the
drive controller is disconnected from the mains.
