2.2.4 Programmable controller (PLC)
The programmable controller (PLC) continuously scrutinizes all data from the remote
control, probes, switches, cells, interface, etc..
It then distributes the interface signals, pilots the motors as well as the pneumatic valves and
displays appropriate messages on the remote control.
In the case of a power cut, the data contained in the programmable automaton are saved
using an emergency battery. The battery must be replaced as soon as possible by a battery
of the same type (see Chapter 9 / Maintenance).
