Examples of System Configurations - Turnup Procedures
The following figures are for reference only and are not intended to suggest any
working configuration. They are used to support this IXL-001.
The figures in this section show a variety of subnetwork configurations and
associated flow diagrams. Figure 1 depicts a large network configuration consisting
of FT-2000 OC-48, DDM-2000 OC-3, OC-12, and FiberReach. The remainder of the
figures illustrate individual subnetworks necessary to establish the large network
configuration. Some subnetwork configurations can be established as stand-alone
subnetworks and added later to the overall large network configuration (For Example,
the OC-3 ring subnetworks in Figures 6 and 7). Other subnetworks require you
establish the host subnetwork first (For Example, the single-homed OC-3 access ring
via the FT-2000 ring in Figures 2 and 3). The shaded areas in each figure show the
configuration being established.
