lockout of service ABN When associated with a LOW SPEED service slot,
this message means that the specified LOW
SPEED service slot is active and will not be
switched to protection. The lockout will remain in
effect until the protection switch is reset. (See the
switch-ls: command.)
manual switch ABN The specified DS1 circuit pack is manually
switched to protection. The manual switch will
remain in effect until the protection switch is reset
or until a failure occurs and an automatic switch
preempts the manual switch. (See the
switch-ls: command.)
manual sync. mode switch ABN The synchronization mode has been manually
switched to holdover or free running and will
remain in that mode until the switch request is
reset. (See the switch-sync: command.)
MXRVO CP failed CR or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified MXRVO
circuit pack.
OC12 connector failed MN Failure or removal of the OC-12 24G-U/24H-U or
29G-U/29H-U OLIU faceplate connector which
carries STS-1/STS-3c ring pass through traffic on
the OC-12 ring interface on the OC-3 shelf.
OHCTL CP failed MJ Internal equipment failure of the OHCTL circuit
pack.
OHCTL standby boot fail MN OHCTL circuit pack failed during local or remote
software download.
OLIU CP failed CR or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified OLIU
circuit pack.
program installation IP Status This system is being used to install software into
another system. If this procedure is interrupted
prior to completion, the remote systems’ control
circuit packs will likely become inoperable until
another install program attempt is successful.
lan program installation IP Status Starting with OC-3 Release 15, this message will
appear in the alarm report of a Network Element
while it is the source of an IMA LAN software
download (cpy-prog: or remote ins-prog:)
into another Network Element. The initiating of the
apply: command for the IMA LAN software will
cause this event as well.
