system through the SONET section data
communications channel (DCC).
Likely causes: SYSCTL or OHCTL circuit pack
failure, reset, or initialization at the far end, failed
program installation at far end, program installation
in progress at the far end, or SYSCTL or OHCTL
circuit pack failure at the near end.
STS1E_H CP failed
STS1E_L CP failed
CR or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified high
speed or low speed STS1E circuit pack.
SYSCTL CP failed MJ Internal equipment failure of the SYSCTL circuit
pack. The system has determined that some part
of the SYSCTL circuit pack has failed. Note: Some
types of failures cannot be reported since the
SYSCTL circuit pack cannot function under these
conditions.
SYSCTL standby boot fail MN SYSCTL circuit pack failed during local or remote
software download.
SYSCTL/IMA gen partially
compatible
MJ Clearable alarm (by upd command). The SYSCTL
and IMA LAN generic are partially compatible.
Likely cause: Rebooting SYSCTL software
generics (as a result of upgrade, downgrade,
system command, or reseating while IMA LAN
circuit packs are present will result in a comparison
with the IMA LAN circuit pack software generic
which may result in this alarm.
SYSCTL/IMA gen incompatible MJ Unclearable alarm. The SYSCTL and IMA LAN
generic are incompatible.
Likely cause: Rebooting SYSCTL software
generics (as a result of upgrade, downgrade,
system command, or reseating while IMA LAN
circuit packs are present will result in a comparison
with the IMA LAN circuit pack software generic
which may result in this alarm.
TGS CP failed CR or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified TGS
circuit pack or the systems at both ends of the span
are line timed from each other.
TG3 CP failed CR or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified TG3
circuit pack or the systems at both ends of the span
are line timed from each other.
TMUX CP failed CR or MN Internal equipment failure of the specified TMUX
circuit pack.
