[5］ Starter switch
WARNING
Be sure to return the starter switch to the
"OFF" position when you finish working.
This is used to start and stop the engine.
• OFF
The key can be inserted and removed, power is
shut off to the electrical systems (except for the
interior lamp), and the engine stops.
• ON
Power is fed to the charging circuit and
electrical circuits.
• START
The engine starts. Keep the key at this position
while cranking, and release the key
immediately once the engine has started. The
key automatically returns to the "ON" position.
The engine of this machine has an automatic
preheat function. If the engine does not start when
it is cold, the AUTO GLOW lamp illuminates when
the starter switch is turned to the ON position.
When the lamp illuminates, wait until the lamp
goes out before turning the switch to the START
position to start the engine.
The engine will not start unless the safety
lock lever is at the lock (L) position. Check
that the safety lock lever is at the lock (L)
position before operating the starter switch.
[6］ Light switch
Use this switch to turn on the boom working light
and head light.
(a) ON position: The lights turn on.
(b) OFF position: The lights turn off.
[7］ Front window wiper switch
Use this switch to operate the wiper and window
washer on the cab front window.
(a) Wiper position: The wiper operates.
(b) Washer position:
When the switch is depressed, washer fluid is
sprayed out and the wiper operates.
When you release your hand from the switch,
the switch returns, the washer fluid stops, and
the wiper also stops.
(c) Stop position: The wiper stops.
