PROHIBITED OPERATIONS
DURING CRANE WORK
WARNING
• Always set the machine on level, solid
ground when operating the crane. Check
the level gauge to ensure that it is level.
• Even when the crane must be unavoidably
operated while travelling, be sure to stop
the machine briefly before operating it.
• In addition to the prohibited items detailed
in this section, refer to the precautions in
"Chapter 2 SAFETY".
DO NOT OPERATE USING SLEWING FORCE
Drawing in a load or standing it upright by
slewing is prohibited.
DO NOT OPERATE USING DERRICKING
FORCE
Drawing in a load or standing it upright by boom
derricking is prohibited.
DO NOT PULL LATERALLY, DRAW IN OR
HOIST DIAGONALLY
Pulling a load laterally, drawing it in, or hoisting it
diagonally applies excessive force to the
machine. It not only damages the machine body,
but is also dangerous. Never operate the
machine in this way.
Hoist with the hook directly above the centre of
gravity of the load being hoisted.
DO NOT OPERATE VIOLENTLY
Do not operate the levers suddenly.
Especially, "slewing", "boom lowering", and "hook
lowering" must be conducted at low speeds.
DO NOT ALLOW PERSONS INSIDE THE
WORKING RADIUS
Do not allow personnel to approach the working
radius such as letting operators enter under a
hoisted load.
