OPERATION FOR PICK &
CARRY
DANGER
• During Pick & Carry, carefully read "5.5.1
PRECAUTIONS DURING PICK & CARRY" on
P. 5-44, and be sure to work safely.
• Stop travelling when operating the crane.
The machine may topple.
• During Pick & Carry, be sure to sit in the
operator's seat and travel carefully.
• Check the safety in the vicinity of the
machine, and sound the horn before
starting to move the machine.
• When switching the forward/reverse
movement of the machine or the direction,
check the safety in the vicinity of the
machine, and sound the horn before making
a change.
• Keep the engine speed low while travelling,
and travel slowly and carefully.
Maintain sufficient distance to prevent the
hoisted load or machine from hitting
another machine or structure.

before hoisting the load. Keep the hoisted
load close to the ground to prevent it from
swaying.
If the moment limiter overload function

P. 4-22.

before travelling the machine.
The travelling symbol is displayed on the
monitor while the crane is travelling.
The speed cannot be switched to 2nd speed
while travelling with a hoisted load.
