[4] Air-conditioner exterior/interior air filter
cleaning
WARNING
There is a risk of personal injury if
compressed air, pressurized water, or steam
directly contacts your body or scatters dust.
Wear goggles, a dust mask, and other
protective equipment.
Check the slide door to ensure that it is
always locked when opened or closed, and
clean the exterior/interior air filters. If the
door is not secured and begins to move, you
could become trapped or the cover may be
damaged.
IMPORTANT
The interval of 500 hours for cleaning is
purely a guideline, and the maintenance
interval should be shortened for dusty work
sites, for example.
When washing floors, be careful not to
splash with water.
[Interior air filter cleaning]
3.
Pull out the interior air filter (1).
4.
Clean the interior air filter (1) with
compressed air.
If the interior air filter (1) is smeared with oil or
heavily contaminated, clean it with neutral
detergent.
After washing, dry thoroughly before using it.
If clogging of the filter cannot be
removed with compressed air or by
washing, replace it with a new one.
5.
Reinstall the cleaned interior air filter (1) to its
original position.
[Exterior air filter cleaning]
1.
Unlock the cover (1) at the rear left of the cab
using the key (starter switch key).
2.
Open the cover (1) by hand and remove the
exterior air filter (2).
3.
Clean the exterior air filter (2) with
compressed air.
Replace the filter if clogging frequently
occurs.
4.
Reinstall the cleaned exterior air filter (2) in its
original position and close the cover (1).
The exterior air filter must be installed in
the correct direction. Note the direction
when reinstalling.
The side with the part number on it
should face outward.
5.
Lock the cover using the key (starter switch
key).
Do not forget to pull out the key.
[5] Hydraulic oil tank air breather

stopping engine operation. Do not replace the
air breather (oil inlet cap) immediately. Wait
until the oil has cooled.
1.

top of the hydraulic oil tank.
