9. After replacing the filter cartridge, fill with oil
via the oil inlet (F) to the level within the range
"H-L" marked on the level gauge (G).
10. Close the machinery cover.
11. Start the engine, allow it to run at idle for a
while, stop the engine, and check that the oil
level remains within the range "H-L" marked
on the level gauge, while referring to "[2]
Engine oil level inspection/refilling" in
"6.16.1.2 INSPECTION BEFORE STARTING
ENGINE" on P. 6-31.
If the oil is low, replenish.
[2] Swing pinion grease level inspection/
refilling
Prepare a scale (rule).
1. Remove the bolts on the tank cover (1) and
post cover (2), and remove the cover.
2. Remove the rubber plug (3) from the top of
the frame.
3. Insert a scale (rule) into the grease in the
pinion passing zone to ensure that the level is
4 mm or more. If there is not enough,
replenish the grease.
4. Check that the grease is not milky.
If the grease is milky, it must be replaced.
Contact us or our sales service agency for
replacement grease.
Total grease quantity: 5.5 L
5. Mount the rubber plug.
6. Attach the post cover (1), then attach the tank
cover (2).
[3] Swing circle greasing
1. Inject grease with a grease gun via the
grease plugs indicated by arrows in the
diagram.
2. Thoroughly wipe away any old grease
exuded after greasing.
