[1] Travel motor gearbox casing oil
replacement
WARNING
Parts will still be hot immediately after
stopping the engine operation. Do not
change the oil immediately. Wait until the oil
has cooled.
The oil and plug may fly out if there is
residual pressure inside the case. Slowly
loosen the plug to relieve the pressure.
IMPORTANT
For details on the oil used, refer to "6.5.1
USE OF FUEL AND LUBRICATING OIL
DEPENDING ON TEMPERATURE" on P.
6-11.
Check that there is no oil leakage from any
of the plugs after oil replacement.
Replacement oil volume: 4.7 L on either side
Prepare a container to catch the drained oil.
Prepare a hexagonal wrench.
1.
Move the machine back and forth so that the
drain plug (P) is underneath.
2.
Place a container to catch drained oil under
the drain plug (P).
3.
Use a hexagonal wrench to remove the oil
inlet plug (F), oil level check plug (G), and
drain plug (P) and drain the oil.
4.
After draining oil, refit the drain plug (P) and
securely tighten it.
Tightening torque: 98.1 Nm ±19.6 Nm
(10 kgfm ±2.0 kgfm)
5.
Pour in the amount of oil required for
replacement via the oil inlet plug (F) hole.
6.
Fill with oil until just before the oil begins to
overflow from the oil level check plug (G) hole,
then refit the oil level check plug (G) and oil
inlet plug (F), and securely tighten them.
Tightening torque: 98.1 Nm ±19.6 Nm
(10 kgfm ±2.0 kgfm)
[2] Winch gearbox casing oil replacement
WARNING
Parts will still be hot immediately after
stopping the engine operation. Do not check
the oil level immediately. Wait until the oil
has cooled.
The oil and plug may fly out if there is
residual pressure inside the case. Slowly
loosen the plug to relieve the pressure.
IMPORTANT
For details on the oil used, refer to "6.5.1
USE OF FUEL AND LUBRICATING OIL
DEPENDING ON TEMPERATURE" on P.
6-11.
After replacing oil, use sealing tape or
similar material on the thread of each plug to
stop oil leaks and securely tighten the plugs.
Replacement oil volume: 1.7 L
Prepare a container to catch the drained oil.
Prepare a hexagonal wrench.
