1. Stop the machine on firm, level ground with
the boom fully lowered.
2. Place a container to catch drained oil under
the drain plug (P).
3. Remove the cover (C).
4. Use a hexagonal wrench to remove the oil
inlet plug (F), oil level check plug (G), and
drain plug (P) and drain the oil.
5. After draining oil, refit the drain plug (P) and
securely tighten it.
Tightening torque: 58.8 Nm ±11.7Nm
(6 kgfm ±1.2 kgfm)
6. Pour in the amount of oil required for
replacement via the oil inlet plug (F) hole.
7. Fill with oil until just before the oil begins to
overflow from the oil level check plug (G) hole,
then refit the oil level check plug (G) and oil
inlet plug (F), and securely tighten them.
Tightening torque
Oil level check plug: 12.3 Nm ±2.4Nm
(1.25 kgfm ±0.25
kgfm)
Oil inlet plug: 58.8 Nm ±11.7Nm
(6 kgfm ±1.2 kgfm)
8. Attach the cover (C).

replacement
WARNING
Parts will still be hot immediately after
stopping the engine operation. Do not
replace the elements immediately. Wait until
the oil has cooled.
The oil may spurt out when the oil inlet cap
of the hydraulic oil tank is removed.
To relieve the internal pressure, slowly turn
the oil inlet cap.
IMPORTANT
For details on the oil used, refer to "6.5.1
USE OF FUEL AND LUBRICATING OIL
DEPENDING ON TEMPERATURE" on P.
6-11.
Prepare a container to catch the drained oil.
Prepare a filter wrench.
1. Stow the hook block in the simple stowage
position, and arrange the machine in its
travelling posture as shown in the figure.
2. Loosen the bolts to remove the cover (1) on
top of the hydraulic oil tank.
3. Open the left cover, and insert the rod in the
slot to secure it in place.
