Once the back plate is centered, turn the
center bushing and listen for any contact to
make sure everything is centered.
First tighten two opposing bolts, torqued
to 7 foot pounds, to secure the centering
of the back plate. Spin the center bushing
to verify there is still no contact. Continue
tightening the other four bolts the same.
Remove Centering Bushing and put a final
torque of 37 foot pounds on all six bolts.
NOTE: Apply a thin layer of grease to the
bearing seats of the basket shaft before
reinstalling trunnion assembly.
With two people, lift the trunnion assembly,
turn it over and when lowering trunnion
assembly onto the basket shaft make sure
the bearing seal surfaces avoid touching
any part of the basket shaft until the
beginning of the bearing seats.
