PluggedNozzleControlValves(NCV)canbeclassiedintotwocategories;plungerblockage,andplungerstuck.
Plungerblockageoccurswhenlargerdebriscatchesbetweentheoriceandplungerseal.Thisisthesmallestow
passagewithintheNozzleControlValve(NCV).Stuckplungersoccurwhensmallerdebriscollectsaroundthebarrel
oftheplungerandbindstheplungerinplace.Symptomsofablockedorstuckplungerare;constantspray,and
drippingwhenthenozzleisshutoff.PinchedorsplitO-ringswillalsocausethenozzlestodripwhenshutoff.
OperatingapluggedNozzleControlValve(NCV)foranextendedperiodoftimemayresultinaNozzleControlValve
(NCV)coilfailure.ImmediatelycleananypluggedNozzleControlValves(NCV).Ifpluggednozzlesornozzlevalves
areafrequentprobleminaparticularboomsection,inspectthemachine’sboomlterscreensforpluggedordamaged
screens.An80meshscreenisrecommendedtoreduceoccurrenceofpluggedvalves.Checkthemeshsizeofthe
strainersandreplacestrainersiftheyaretoocoarseordamaged.ReferenceIntelliSpray™operatormanualfor

1.Turntheratecontrolleroff.
2.Disengagetheproductpump.
3.Turnofftheengineandremovethekeyfromtheunit.
4.Releasethepressurefromthesprayerlinesbyslowly
looseningasprayerbarendcap,openingaushing
valve,orsimilartting.
NOTE:Beforeremovingorinstallingnozzlevalves,
ensurethatthepressurehasbeenreleasedfromthe
sprayerlines.
5.Loosentheynut(1)andremovethenozzlecontrol
valve(A)fromthenozzlebody.
