Troubleshooting
Take appropriate actions as described below before taking the trouble as a failure.
If still the problem is not solved after troubleshooting, contact your dealer or an office of MIMAKI.
Power does not turn on
In most cases, this is due to improper connection of the power cable for the machine or computer. Check that
the power cable is connected properly.
The machine does not start printing
This occurs when the data is not being transmitted to the machine properly.
It can also occur when the printing function does not work properly or the media is not set correctly.
Has the power cable been connected
between the machine and a power plug
socket ?
Securely connect the power cable.
Is the main switch ON ? Turn on the main switch. ( P.2-4)
Is the power switch located on the front of
machine "ON" ?
Turn on the power switch on the front of the
machine.
Is the correct interface cable used ? Use the cable exclusive for the device.
Is the interface cable properly connected ? Securely connect the interface cable.

Is the message on the display indicating
that ink has run out ?
Replace the ink cartridge with a new one.
