1.12.6 Changing the Paper Size of the Paper Feed Unit (Fixed Cassette)
1. While pressing the stops in the direction of
thearrowsasshowninthefigure,pulloutthe
tray of the paper feed unit.
NOTE
Make sure that the paper lift lock is released.
2. Remove the three edge guides.
3. Remove two springs under the paper lifting
plate.
4. Refer to the following chart and replace the
two springs according to the desired paper
size.
NOTE
The replacement springs are stored in the
bottom of the front side of the paper feed unit.
Always set the springs so the upper end of the
spring fits into the metal clips of the lifting plate
and the lower end fits into the cutout in the bottom
of the drawer.
