11-1. Original Size Detecting Operation
• The copier determines that there is an original placed on the glass when a photo receiver
of the original size detecting sensor receives the light of a given level or higher of inten-
sity.
11-2. Original Size Detection
• The copier CPU determines the correct original size based on the combination of sta-
tuses of the original, either present or absent, as detected by the original size detecting
sensors.
