5-3. Settings in the Security Mode

Setting (The default is ).
Total Counter Select the condition by which the Counter count is increased.
Size Counter Select the size of the paper to be counted by the Size Counter.
Copy Kit Counter Select whether to enable or disable the “Copy Kit count.”
Copy Kit Enter a value for the Copy Kit Counter.
When the current value reaches the set value, the following display is
given.
• Copy Kit Counter setting
Mode 2: The icon “”appears in the sub-message display.
Mode 3: The maintenance call reminder “M4” appears and the
initiation of a new copy cycle is inhibited.
<Procedure>
1. Touch “Set.”
2. Press the Clear key to clear the current setting.
If the setting is accidentally cleared, press the Interrupt key to
undo the clearing operation.
3. Enter the desired value from the 10-Key Pad.
4. Touch “Current.”
5. Press the Clear key to clear the current value.
If the current value is accidentally cleared, press the Interrupt key
to undo the clearing operation.
Plug-In Counter Select the condition by which the Counter count is increased.
