3.7 Changing the Super PIN at the KeypadRFID Module
We recommend changing the Super PIN for security reasons (protection against manipula-
tion or unauthorized access to the door station)
• if you suspect that unauthorized persons may know your current Super PIN, or
• if you have taken over an existing door station that is still set up with the previous
owner’s Super PIN.
The other method for changing the Super PIN (by video phone) is described in Section 2.4.3 .
To change the Super PIN, you need the old (i.e. the current) Super PIN, a new secure Super
PIN (8–16 digits) and the red admin card.
Proceed as Follows:
1. Select a new Super PIN and immediately make a note of it on your T25 Product Pass
(
Section 3.2.2 ). The new Super PIN also needs to have at least eight and no more
than 16 digits, and it should be selected with security in mind (no obvious number
combinations).
2. Enter Configuration Mode: Press the OK/MENU button until you hear the second
beep (button flashes blue).
3. Hold your admin card up to the KeypadRFID buttons until you hear a beep and the
OK/MENU button lights up blue continuously.
4.
Enter Access Configuration Mode: Briefly press the blue key button, which then lights
up blue.
