Daily Startup
1. Ensure that there is enough inert gas available and that the inert gas
inlet is clean.
2. Set the main switch to I/ON. The melter begins to heat up.
EXCEPTION: If the seven-day clock is enabled and the melter is then
switched on, heatup does not begin automatically. The melter starts in
the mode specified by the program for startup.
The tank is pressurized with inert gas according to the time set.
3. When the material is changed, keep in mind that the setpoint
temperatures may need to be adjusted.
CAUTION: Do not operate Nordson gear pumps without material. Before
switching on the motor, ensure that the tank is filled.
4. Fill the tank if necessary.
5. Wait until the system is ready for operation (Ready LED lights up
green).
6. Enable / switch on the motor.
NOTE: To prevent excessive wear, the pump speed should not
continuously fall below 5 min-
1
(rpm) or continuously exceed 80 min
-1
(rpm).
