Checking Temperatures
The actual temperature of every heated component can be checked via the
scan cycle in normal mode or by manually selecting the components.
By default, the melter remains in normal mode except when:
S The melter is in Setup mode
S A fault occurs.
Checking Actual Temperature in Normal Mode
1. When the Ready LED is illuminated, observe the LEDs on the
component keys.
2. When the LED on the key that represents the desired component group
(Fig. 4-7) lights up, observe the left display (7, Fig, 4-3) until it shows the
position number of the component to be checked.
Fig. 4-7
3. When the position number of the desired component appears in the left
display, the right display (6, Fig. 4-3) shows the component’s actual
temperature.
NOTE: Components with a setpoint temperature of zero degrees are
skipped.
Checking Setpoint Temperature in Normal Mode
The setpoint temperature of a component can be checked at any time by
pressing the right scroll key UP. The setpoint of every scanned component
is displayed when the scroll key is held down in normal mode.
NOTE: Only the setpoint temperature of the reservoir is displayed and not
that of the grid, even if a temperature offset 0 0 was set.
