Problem Corrective Action
Access Denied appears when a unit or COM port
has been selected.
Communication is already in progress, or a
different application is using the COM port.
Close the Internet Explorer and terminate the
communication connection (when prompted). Close
all other applications.
The melter is in UPLOAd mode, the upgrade has
not yet begun, and you wish to stop and exit the
UPLOAd mode, but you can not get the melter out
of UPLOAd mode.
Switch melter off and on again with main switch.
CAUTION: Ensure that the firmware upgrade
process is not running before switching off.
UPLOAd does not appear in the melter display
when the Setup key and the left display scroll key
are pressed at the same time.
Hold down the Setup key and the left display scroll
key simultaneously, and turn the main switch off
and then on again.
Attempted a firmware upgrade, but the melter
display still indicates UPLOAd.
OR
Attempted a firmware upgrade, but the PC has
stopped responding or was interrupted during the
upgrade process.
Switch melter off and on again with main switch,
then try the upgrade again.
If the upgrade is not successful or the melter does
not restart, the processor may be damaged.
Replace the CPU.
